The local people living in the Dolpa region share rich cultural aspects with Tibetan people. Both Tibetan Buddhism and the Bon form of religion are evident. The trek is challenging as the route goes through famous high passes like Bagala and Numala. one is rewarded by excellent views of mountains along with an opportunity to see snow leopards, wildflowers, Himalayan blue sheep, and other variety of birds.

Your journey begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Juphal through Nepalgunj. You will be starting your trek from Juphal. You will be trekking through a semi-deserted region combined with a densely forested path filled with pine, rhododendrons, bamboo, and juniper trees along with the trail made up of huge meadows, brown landscape, and terraced fields. You will also be entering Shey Phoksundo National Park admiring the gorgeous rain shadow landscape of the Himalayas. The national park is inhabited by endangered species like snow leopard, Himalayan musk deer, blue sheep, etc. there will be other trek routes you will be continuing and you will never miss out on any memorable experience.
